Hogan Lovells is a global legal practice that helps corporations, financial institutions, and governmental entities across the spectrum of their critical business and legal issues globally and locally. We have over 2,400 lawyers operating out of more than 40 offices in the United States, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia.

Hogan Lovells was the first global law firm to establish a permanent presence in Mongolia.  Michael Aldrich, the managing partner of our Ulaanbaatar office, moved to Mongolia to develop our international Mongolia practice in April 2009.  In August 2011, the Government of Mongolia issued its approval for the establishment of Hogan Lovells (Ulaanbaatar) LLC.  In April 2012, Chris Melville, a partner with extensive experience in Russia, joined Michael as the other resident partner in Mongolia.  Since 2009, the office has grown to 14 fee earners and four other staff.  Both foreign-admitted and Mongolia-admitted attorneys advise our clients on a broad array of legal matters.
