The Christmas Drinks of the Mongolian British Chamber of Commerce organised in association with the All Party Parliamentary Group for Mongolia.

The event took place in the Inter Parliamentary Union (IPU ) Room off Westminster Hall in Parliament.

A business delegation from Mongolia were in attendance.

There were speakers from amongst others the Mongolian Government, Rio Tinto, Cambridge University, the Association of British Mining Equipment Companies, the Mongolian Academy of Sciences and Panoramic Journeys.


New British Ambassador in Mongolia

Ms. Fiona Blyth has been appointed His Majesty’s Ambassador to Mongolia from July 2023 in succession to Mr Philip Malone LVO who is the longest serving British ambassador in Ulaanbaatar having taken up his post in 2018.
On June 5th the Mongolian British Chamber of Commerce held a reception in her honour on the bridge of the Tattershall Castle on the banks of the River Thames and to mark 60 years of diplomatic relations between our two countries.

World Export Development Forum, Under the auspices of the President of Mongolia the World Export Development Forum will be held in Ulaanbaatar between 27-29 June with the support and participation of the International Trade Centre headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.   The World Export Development Forum (WEDF) is the annual flagship event of the International Trade Centre (ITC).
